Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated NC Pre-K Lead Teacher with a valid Birth–Kindergarten (B-K) NC Teaching License to join our early childhood education team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction to eligible 4 and 5-year-old children, helping them build the foundation for school success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach lessons using The Creative Curriculum
• Supervise, support, and guide the classroom Teacher Assistant
• Track and document student growth and development
• Hold two parent conferences annually (Fall and Spring)
• Maintain classroom routines and daily schedules
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Follow all DCDEE and NC Pre-K guidelines
• Communicate regularly with families
• Complete all required health and safety training's
• Attend staff meetings and ongoing professional development

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
• Birth–Kindergarten NC Teaching License (Initial or Continuing – required)
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred

Schedule & Compensation:
