Afterschool Teacher 
Children’s World Learning Center & Walton Academy K–8 – Greenville, NC

We are hiring energetic and dependable Afterschool Teachers to support our growing program!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Pay: $12–$16 per hour (based on education and experience)
Must be 21+ and able to drive a 14-passenger van (No CDL required)

Position Overview:
Afterschool Teachers are responsible for creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment for students after school. This includes implementing themed weekly lesson plans, supervising indoor/outdoor activities, and transporting children from local schools to our center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a company van to pick up children from local schools (CDL NOT REQUIRED)
• Implement engaging weekly lesson plans in:
• STEAM
• Character education
• Fine arts
• Reading & writing
• Theater
• Supervise and support students through recreational and learning activities
• Provide homework assistance as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging classroom
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and coworkers
• Follow all safety and program guidelines

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Have a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a 14-passenger van (no CDL required)
• Must obtain or already hold a DCDEE Criminal Background Qualification Letter
