Job Summary:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your technical expertise and problem-solving skills that will result in providing quality products. You will work with the manufacturing team to perform quality reviews and provide feedback and assist in resolving issues found. This role also includes obtaining feedback from the dealers on warranty issues and providing information to and collaborating with manufacturing to solve issues. You will also support dealers with service and parts needs. This role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with various roles within the company.

Primary responsibilities and duties:

• Review incoming warranty items, customer complaints and dealer complaints to drive change on the factory floor through our Continuous Improvement Process (CLIP).
• Assist in answering technical service questions from dealers and customers in a timely and professional manner. Following up as needed.
• Assist in taking outside orders for parts, including pulling inventory, shipping and invoicing customers.
• Perform end of line quality checks (20pt inspection) for functional and safety issues. Document findings and support the team in long term resolutions.
• Assist as needed with other end of line quality checks. Document findings and support the team in long term resolutions.
• Support Service Team as needed, including front desk coverage.
• Provide support for training initiatives.
• Participate in dealer events such as boat shows, dealer meetings etc. Provide dealers and customers with knowledge of the functionality of our boats. Represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
• Computer skills, especially Excel
• Good problem-solving skills
• Must have working knowledge of boat manufacturing (boat manufacturing or marine industry); 2-3 year’s experience preferred
