Role Description:
Throughout Eastern and Coastal NC, the Construction Account Manager is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling waste removal to customers primarily in the construction industry. The CAM is also responsible for building and growing long-term relationships and increasing revenue to meet and exceed the company’s YOY profitable growth. The CAM meets regularly with prospective and existing clients in his or her assigned market area to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers. This is a field-based position; the successful candidate must be located within the assigned geographical territory to effectively serve clients and respond to needs promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely lead follow-up. New business development for construction, temp, and roll off lines of business.
- Ability to prospect and book meetings with appropriate decision makers.
- Conduct market research to understand potential sales opportunities and customer needs.
- Establish long term business relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Execute service agreements.
- Increase company visibility through participation in company sponsored Chamber and community events.
- Partner with Operations Team and Customer Service department to address customer needs.
- Weekly job site visits for new and existing customers.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Utilizes CRM daily. Documents all activities such as calls, meetings and proposals. Maintains accurate activity and sales pipeline.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue quotas and managing a book of business.

- The ability to achieve growth quotas, learn quickly and apply knowledge to business goals

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- Construction industry experience.
