Marketing Digital Content Curator

PJi is seeking a master wordsmith with a flair for creativity and a keen eye for detail.  The candidate selected to join our team as our Digital Content Curator.

In this role, you'll be the creative genius behind our website, crafting captivating product descriptions, informative articles, and managing our e-commerce catalog. But that's not all, you'll also breathe new life into existing content while keeping SEO best practices front and center.

Collaboration is key at PJi. You'll work closely with internal teams to gather industry insights and shape future content strategies. Your mission will be to create, curate, and publish content that not only aligns with our brand voice and goals but also resonates with our diverse audience.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop content that will push the e-commerce catalog
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members and brainstorm subjects for creative content. Be curious and ask questions
  • Create unique, simple-to-understand, and user-friendly content using good SEO techniques
  • Assist product development and website team in managing new and current product uploads for SEO, descriptions, website copy, and photos to upload/update products on the website
  • Write new web content and edit existing content
  • Edit and proofread new content before publication 
  • As with all marketing roles, you need to be flexible in your task outputs
  • Analyze performance indicators and web traffic and determine the effectiveness of created content
  • Assist the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator with other marketing tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, mass communication  or a related field
  • Proven experience as a technical writer, copywriter, graphic design or similar role with a focus on technical content.
  • Strong working knowledge of content management software, including Asana, WordPress, Photoshop, and Flash
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Good working knowledge of HTML and SEO
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
