Position Summary
The ECU Health Foundation is seeking a creative and detail-oriented professional to support philanthropic digital content development, graphic design, donor engagement and stewardship efforts. This role plays a key part in advancing fundraising and communication strategies through compelling visuals and effective and creative storytelling with strong project coordination and collaboration. This role will have a strong focus on ECU Health Foundation donor engagement projects and initiatives for the colleges and schools of the health sciences at ECU.
Reporting to the Manager, Donor Relations, the Donor Engagement Creative Specialist serves as a dynamic project assistant supporting digital content, graphic design and donor engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and managing website and platform content, while ensuring all materials align with established brand guidelines. The position plays a key role in creating high-quality visual assets for fundraising and communications initiatives, as well as assisting the Donor Relations team with digital engagement efforts.
The Donor Engagement Creative Specialist collaborates closely with the Donor Relations team to support philanthropic communications, donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns through compelling copywriting, graphic design and multimedia content. This role is responsible for capturing and producing photo and video content for use across digital channels, contributing to the overall ECU Health Foundation social media strategy.
Additionally, this position manages project workflows in project management software to enhance team coordination and visibility, partners with internal and external stakeholders on communications projects and assists with event planning and logistics, special projects and print production from concept to final deliverables. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of digital fundraising strategies, including email marketing and social media.
