Chemical Mixer
- Set up and operate mixing tanks, blenders, scales, pumps, granulators, fluid bed dryers and other assigned equipment.
- Weigh and dispense liquid and powder ingredients into mixing equipment according to the formulations.
- Ensure raw materials are added correctly with right weights.
- Obtain and understand all documentation for making batches. Ensures correct raw materials are used for each batch.
- Ensure all raw material containers used are properly sealed, labeled, clean, and returned to inventory.
- Follow lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirements.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Refer issues/problems to lead/supervisor person(s).
- Communicate with material handlers and packers when materials are needed and batches are ready to pack.
- Complete all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner.
- Observe safety requirements set forth by company.
- Use SAP as needed for Production.
- Perform other related duties as required.
