Eastern Carolina Vocational Center Inc. has an opening for an Assembler l, FT positions in the Framing Production Department. This position is responsible for assembling boxes and other general production projects using an assortment of materials in a manner that enables the delivery of defect-free products to customers on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Back staples frames with correct number of staples
• Ensure frames quality are within specification
• Verify frame sizes and use appropriate staple for the frame
• Removes frame from cart and assembles pieces for final packaging.
• Labels and packages different types of materials.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work stations using brooms.
• Spots imperfections before packaging.
• Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.

• Proximity to moving, mechanical parts (staple gun)

- Sedentary work with lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 lbs. occasionally and sitting most of the time.
