Walton Academy is seeking a fun, engaging Music Teacher who brings energy, creativity, and a love of music into the classroom. This role helps students explore music in a hands-on, modern learning environment while building confidence and sharing their talents.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead engaging music classes aligned to NC standards
• Teach foundational music skills including rhythm, melody, and performance
• Foster creativity, confidence, and a love of music
• Prepare and direct students for a Winter and Spring Concert
• Submit weekly lesson plans

Preferred:

• Degree in Music Education or related field
• NC Teaching License (K–8) - (not required)
• Experience working with school-aged students
