(Greenville, NC) Koinonia Christian Center Church invites all of Pitt County and surrounding communities to enjoy an afternoon of relaxing music on Sunday, October 14, 2018at the Greenville Toyota Amphitheater on the Greenville Town Commons, 105 E. 1st St, Greenville, NC 27858. The event will be held from 3pm – 8pmand admission is free!
Headlining the event is saxophonist, Adrian Crutchfield. Known as the last sax player to perform and record with Prince (2012-2016), Adrian is featured on many of Prince’s final masterpieces. His high energy show brings a diversity to jazz never seen before with music for every generation! Adrian has also had the privilege of performing with such names as Bette Midler, R&B icon Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia Barrino and hip hop superstar Young Jeezy.In jazz, Mr. Crutchfield has been featured by names such Mike Phillips, Jeff Lorber, and Branford Marsalis; and with legendary group, The Gap Band featuring Charlie Wilson. He will be accompanied by Limited Edition; best known as the band to saxophonist, Marcus Anderson, who will also serve as the event’s house band.
Event attendees will also enjoy performances from ECU’s own and world-renowned musician, Dr. Carroll Dashiell, Pitt Community College instructor and Music Academy of Eastern Carolina co-founder, Mr. Michael Stephenson, along with Carolina Sound of Raleigh, community favorites, Kruz Band and Ruffin Keys, Rob LaRay of New York, and Bertrand Bailey Jr. of Louisiana.
Food and merchandise vendors will be available and they’ll be plenty of room to dance!
