Cancer Services of ENC receives a grant of $45,000 from Camber Foundation for rural mammograms
Greenville, NC – June 23, 2026 – Cancer Services of ENC is proud to announce that it has received a grant of $45,000 from Camber Foundation, aimed at helping the organization facilitate 400 mammograms for rural Eastern North Carolina residents who lack access to breast cancer screenings.
Camber Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations serving Eastern North Carolina that address existing and emerging needs through community-driven solutions. Camber selected Cancer Services of ENC for a grant due to its alignment with the Foundation’s commitment to expanding access to healthcare for Eastern North Carolinians.
“We know that barriers to healthcare often stand in the way of early detection and wellness,” said Leslie Ann Jackson, President and CEO of Camber Foundation. “Providing 400 mammograms is a powerful step toward expanding healthcare access in Eastern North Carolina, and we are honored to support an initiative that brings critical, preventative care directly into the communities that need it most.
This is the third consecutive grant award from Camber Foundation to Cancer Services of ENC, which provides resources and support to patients and caregivers affected by cancer in Eastern NC.  These funds are specifically earmarked to enable mammograms for rural residents in Eastern NC who do not have access to healthcare services.
“We are grateful to the Camber Foundation for its continued investment in improving health outcomes in rural communities and for recognizing the critical need to bring lifesaving breast cancer screening services directly to the people who need them the most,” said Lynn Pischke, Executive Director.
