About Us

The Junior League movement has been developing women leaders and strengthening communities since 1901. Locally, the organization began as the Junior Women's Association (JWA) of Greenville in 2010 and became an official member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) in 2017, proudly serving as the Junior League of Greenville, NC.
Today, the Junior League of Greenville is an organization of women committed to advancing women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Through hands-on service, leadership development, and strategic partnerships, our members work to address community needs and strengthen Greenville and Pitt County.
The League provides members with opportunities to develop leadership skills while making a lasting difference through volunteerism, advocacy, and community engagement. Guided by the values of diversity, collaboration, community, empowerment, leadership, respect, and service, we are committed to building a stronger future for all who call Pitt County home.
