About Us

The Pitt Community College Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development strives to be your source for workforce training and personal enrichment. You can train for a new career or update your current skills through short-term programs such as healthcare, real estate, construction trades, law enforcement, fire and EMS, and barber and cosmetology. Our programs provide the education needed to get you into the workforce quickly. Our Small Business Center even provides free assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs through weekly seminars, one-on-one consulting, and a resource center.

Besides training individuals for the workforce, we offer a variety of personal enrichment classes that are fun, entertaining, and can teach you new skills and hobbies. These are always changing but generally include classes in the areas of art, dance, fitness, language, music, safety, and more.
