About Us

WHAT WE DO
Boys & Girls Clubs offer young people 6 to 18 years of age what they want and need most: staff members who are role models who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can be themselves and have fun, and constructive activities to channel their youthful energy.

All Clubs are equipped with computers and all members receive instruction and guidance to encourage computer literacy.

The Youth Development Strategy at all Boys & Girls Clubs emphasizes:
A sense of competence, the feeling that there is something they can do and do well.
A sense of usefulness, the opportunity to do something of value for others.
A sense of belonging, in a setting where they feel accepted and have programs designed just for them.
A sense of power and influence, a chance to be heard and influence decisions.
The Clubs offer members daily access to a broad range of programs:
Character & Leadership Development
Education & Career Development
Health & Life Skills
Arts & Culture
Sports, Fitness & Recreation
