Oakwood Is Now Accepting Applications for Monk Scholarship

Applications for the Monk Family Scholarship valued at $10,000 per year are now being accepted for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year and renewable annually thereafter. The scholarship is open to all families of new rising 9th through 12th grade students in Pitt County and surrounding areas with particular emphasis on Farmville and neighboring communities.
For more information, The Oakwood School will host a Monk Family Scholarship Information Session for interested parents and students on Wednesday, February 19 beginning at 7:00 pm in Speight Student Commons at the Clark Hall Upper School on Oakwood’s campus.
Each student must successfully complete Oakwood's admissions and financial assistance applications by Friday, March 6 and participate in a panel interview and essay event on Saturday, March 21. Selection criteria is based on exhibiting qualities that reflect Oakwood's Portrait of a Graduate including character, integrity, service, academic achievement, leadership, inspiration and extracurricular involvement, as well as demonstrated financial need.

The Oakwood School is now accepting applications for rising Pre-K to 12th grade students as well as applications for the 2020-21 Monk Family Scholarship.
