Food Bank Needs Items to Support Local Children
The Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC Greenville and New Branches is in need of food products and infant items most needed by young children and their families. Individuals, community groups, churches, and businesses, which would like to collect and donate most needed kids items, are called upon to do so at this time of greatest need during the covid19 health crisis. The Food Bank is working every business day to coordinate the distribution of food products and household items to communities where families, children, seniors, and veterans are experiencing food-insecurity.
The most needed kids items include: infant items like diapers, wipes, Pedialye, and infant cereal. Most needed kids items include: fruit cups, granola bars, mac & cheese cups, apple sauce cups, cracker snacks, and juice boxes.
Donations of shelf-stable foods and household products can be donated each business day, after 8 am and before 4 pm to either the Food Bank’s Greenville or New Bern Branches: Food Bank Greenville Branch, 1712 Union Street, Greenville, NC, 27834 or Food Bank New Bern Branch, 205 South Glenburine Road, New Bern, NC 28560.
