Glenn Perry has been an Assistant District Attorney with the Pitt County District Attorney’s Office since May of 1992. From 2003 until January 2018, Glenn was assigned to the United States Attorney’s Office as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Glenn prosecutes violent crimes in state court and concentrated on drug trafficking and firearm violations in federal court.
Glenn has been a frequent instructor at law enforcement training conferences.
Glenn graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Accounting in 1988 and from the Wake Forest School of Law in 1991.
Glenn has two children, a daughter aged 17 and a son aged 10. Glenn grew up in Williamston, NC. Glenn is a member of the University City Kiwanis Club. He has coached many of his son’s athletic teams.
Glenn recently filed to run in the Republican primary for Pitt County District Attorney.
