We are looking for an IT Territory Account Representative to develop relationships with new clients, make sales visits and presentations, and maintain and grow client relationships. You will be required to develop advanced knowledge of products and services while meeting or exceeding all sales goals.

 

IT Sales Job Duties

 

Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by B to B sales calls, networking and marketing

Assesses client’s IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages

Prepares sales visits and presentations to promote product, service, and combination packages to clients

Negotiates sales, package promotions, and long-term contracts with clients

Effectively communicates with the support team and client to coordinate any services or client concerns

Maintains communications and site visits with current clients on an ongoing basis

Clearly understands sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals

Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance

Enters all sales activities into CRM

Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through research

Answers questions, describes benefits and discusses the pros and cons of various competing products or services

Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products

Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales

 

IT Sales Skills and Qualifications

 

Bachelor's Degree in Business and or 10 + years of proven successful Sales / Marketing Experience

Knowledge of Relevant Products and Sales

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication

Interpersonal Communication

Successful Negotiation Skills

5+ years B2B sales experience with bachelor’s degree

IT Experience/knowledge
