The goal of this series of workshops on grant writing is to prepare you to understand grant seeking,explore and find appropriate funding sources, and write persuasive and successful grant applications. The specific objectives of the courses are: - Identification of funding sources and ways to promote an appropriate match between the project and funding source - Establishment of advisory and collaborative relationships - Planning, development, and preparation of funding proposals, including goals and objectives, needs documentation, literature and data review, budgeting, and timelines - Understanding of proposal review and decision procedures - Knowledge of the administration, evaluation, and reporting of funded projects. This series of workshops on Successful Grant Writing begins with basic information for those who have little experience with grants, proposal writing, orgrants administration and continues with both explanation and actual preparation of all aspects of writing a successful funding proposal. The workshops will facilitate your learning from conception ofaproject idea to the implementation, administration, and evaluation of a funded grant.
