Knowledge and application of the strategic planning process and developing and implementing an effective strategic plan are key elements to the success of any nonprofit organization. Beginning and experienced nonprofit board members, executive directors, administrators, mid- to high-level managers and leaders, and any one interested in staying at the forefront of organizational planning practiceswill benefit from this course. This course will provide information and discussion on the elementsof strategic planning and a hands-on, experiential process that provides opportunities for you toapply every step of the process. You will create a strategic plan as a class project, which is completed during class time.
