Scouting America’s East Carolina Council will honor Chancellor Philip Rogers with the Pitt County Distinguished Citizen Award at a community recognition dinner on May 14, 2026, in Greenville.
The Distinguished Citizen Award recognizes individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment to youth and the broader community have made a lasting impact on Eastern North Carolina. Chancellor Rogers’ contributions to education and public service reflect the values and mission of Scouting America.
