The Pitt County Board of Elections (BOE) has scheduled Open House events at the new office located at 1800 N Greene Street\, Suite C\, Greenville\, NC. The event series and tours are for Pitt County elected officials\, candidates\, media and the general public.\n\n"We look forward to welcoming Pitt County voters to our new Elections Office. The Open House series provides an excellent opportunity for citizens to register to vote\, request an absentee ballot\, and obtain a photo ID if they need one\," says Dave Davis\, Director\, Pitt County Board of Elections.\n\nSchedule of Events:\n\nWednesday\, August 23\, 4:30 p.m.   6:00 p.m.\n\n*Friday\, September 1\, 11:00 a.m.   2:00 p.m. *No-Fee Voter Photo ID Event\n\n*Thursday\, September 14\, 11:00 a.m.   2:00 p.m. *No-Fee Voter Photo ID Event\n\nWednesday\, September 27\, 4:30 p.m.   6:00 p.m.\n\nPhoto ID cards are now a requirement when voting in North Carolina. Most voters may use their driver's license. Individuals needing an alternate photo ID\, may come to the Pitt County Board of Elections during the September 1 and September 14 Open House events to participate in the no-fee ID Card event. Voters who need a photo ID may also visit the BOE office at 1800 N Greene Street\, Suite C\, during regular office hours.\n\n"After a lot of planning and coordination\, the Pitt County Board of Elections has a new home and are so excited to be here\," says Racheli Vidal\, Deputy Director of Elections.
