DESCRIPTION:Holiday Tours during Christmas Past at the\n\nEastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum 1840   1940\n\n\n\nGREENVILLE\, NC   Get into the holiday spirit this season and step back in time for an old-timey Christmas experience during Christmas Past at the Village at the Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum in December!\n\n\n\nBring your children\, family\, and friends out to enjoy hot cider and cookies while taking a night-time self-guided tour of the Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum 1840   1940 decked out with lights\, lanterns\, trees\, wreaths\, ornaments\, and more for the Christmas season.\n\n\n\nBuildings open for tours will include:\n\n\n\n          Eagles Schoolhouse built in 1903\n\n\n\n          Satterthwaite General Store built in 1879\n\n\n\n          Thomas Adrian Savage House built in the mid-1850's\n\n\n\n          Log Church\, with hand hewn original pews dating from the 1700's\n\n\n\n          Log Cabin built with 150 year old cypress logs\n\n\n\n          Mule Stables built in 1852\n\n\n\n          Other buildings for viewing\n\n\n\nDocents dressed in period costume will be in each of the open buildings to welcome guests and provide an interpretation of the building\, along with the antiques and artifacts in each one. Exhibitors will be setup in various location throughout the museum grounds offering demonstrations of old-fashioned arts and crafts.\n\n\n\nThe Eagles Schoolhouse will host holiday music and carolers\, as well as readings of 'Twas the Night before Christmas.\n\n\n\nChristmas Past at the Village Event Dates & Times:\n\n\n\n          Sunday\, December 8th from 4pm   7pm\n\n\n\n          Monday\, December 9th  from 5pm   8pm\n\n\n\nAdmission is $10 per person\, and free for children under 5 years old.
