DESCRIPTION:The Greenville Jaycees are hosting Greetings from the Dominican Republic: Social and Member Drive beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday\, March 23\, with partnering business Villa Verde\, 2601 E. 10th Street\, Greenville.\n\n \n\nThis event's goal to welcome new-to-Greenville young professionals to learn about the work of the Greenville Jaycees\, and how business leaders\, professionals\, and community leaders can come together to create positive outcomes.\n\n \n\n"We are excited to host the first Greenville Jaycees social of 2024\," said Melinda Sampson\, president of the Greenville Jaycees.\n\n \n\n"We are also happy to have our kickoff event at Villa Verde. This business is known for its commitment to improving Greenville and the surrounding area.  Greenville Jaycees and Villa Verde make perfect partners in the work of supporting good work that changes lives. We are eternally grateful for the support of Jay Bastardo\, owner of Villa Verde\, and anticipate a wonderful\, fun\, and impactful event."\n\n\n\nDominican food\, beer\, and wine will be provided free of charge to those who attend. The Greenville Jaycees is anticipating several area nonprofit leaders to come out to network with participants\, along with a mini not-for-profit fair trade market.
