SUMMARY:Fisk on Fourth Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:The 2017-2018 Fisk on Fourth Concert Series continues with Two Organs-Two Organists!  Organist John Cummins and Michael Messina present a program of duos and duets for two organists and two organs.  The centerpiece of the program is the "Alexander Variations" by Calvin Hampton.  This 30-minute work was commissioned for the organs at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and was discovered among pieces Hampton was working on just prior to his death in 1984.  A "portative" organ will join The Perkins and Wells Memorial Organ on stage for this program.
