SUMMARY:Empty Pink Chair Project
DESCRIPTION:"This is the chair my grandmother sat in to read to me as a child\, it sits empty now because of breast cancer" \n\n\n\nHelp Raise awareness about early detection... and place a pink chair at your business!\n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Early detection and treatment increases the odds of beating cancer.\n\n\n\nPretty in Pink Foundation\n\nWhen breast cancer is present...and health insurance is not.\n\nPretty in Pink Foundation provides the financial support for medical treatments to individuals who qualify based on household and income guidelines. To help extend our impact\, Pretty in Pink Foundation partners with medical professionals across North Carolina who provide in-kind and reduced fee services to our breast cancer champions.\n\n\n\nThe goal of the Empty Pink Chair Project is to raise money for the Pretty in Pink Foundation by selling sponsorships for a hand painted pink chair to be placed in sponsors business. The chair represents someone that has lost their life to breast cancer. The chair is also to serve as a gentle reminder that getting your annual mammogram and detecting cancer as early as possible is the key first step to beating cancer. \n\n\n\nAll the money raised will go to the Pretty in Pink Foundation\, which is an amazing local charity that provides uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients in North Carolina with financial assistance for quality\, life-saving medical treatment. Sponsorship is a minimum donation of $100. \n\n\n\nFor the sponsorship of a chair: we would come and place a beautiful hand painted pink chair at the sponsors business with a plaque stating the significance of the chair for the month of October. Each sponsor will be featured on ours as well as the Pretty in Pink Foundation's social media and website. When we place the chair we will take a picture at the sponsors place of business and include picture in all posts. Sponsors will also be listed in the Pitt County Women's Journal in October. \n\n \n\nClick on link below for more Information and Sponsorship Form:\n\n \n\nhttps://cbispecialists.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Empty-Pink-Chair-Sponsor-Form.pdf\n\n\n\nEach Sponsor will receive:\n\n	Pink Chair to place in business during October\n	Social Media Posts highlighting the business\n	Sponsor list featured in Pitt County Womens Journal\n	Place flyers/business cards on our sponsor table in CBIS\n	Recognition from Pretty in Pink Foundation\n\nFor more information please email Holly Russell\, CBIS Community Liaison at hrussell@cbispecialists\,com or call 804.814.7970
